Well if that isn’t just a collection of horrible ideas. Guilt or no, a relationship built on the foundation or using a person will never be stable. And clearly it’s not.

I don’t doubt that everything Connor has done has been by instinct, and not particularly good instinct. But someone who trusts and depends on you on such an emotional level— you would think that he would take your advice to heart at the very least. He knows you’re capable, even if you neglect experience and intellect.

It’s like a teenager who thinks he already knows everything. But when things go wrong, it’s the end of the world.

And then there’s Han. Naturally, he better than anyone should know the differences between himself and Connor. But it would seem that emotionally he hasn’t made that connection yet.

[Oswald downs the rest of the glass with a dissatisfied huff, before refilling both glasses.]

There’s not a single thing right or good about the whole damn thing.
