[He isn't placated much by the reassurance, but it's better than nothing at the moment. Still.]
I don't remember signing up for any kind of program. But even if we ignore that, why should I believe that you'd be able to keep up your end of the deal?
[He was heading into a battle, after all, and he wouldn't expect just anyone to be able to outfit them with additional ships, equipment and personnel.]
We want you to work with us willingly. For that reason... I'm not opposed to offering a small reward. As a token of what I hope will be a very profitable relationship for the both of us.
I assure you... given the time-- which you'll have plenty of during our program-- they will be able to provide you with more than enough to take out your enemy.
[Honestly... the fact that Oswald isn't even blinking an eye at the idea of someone taking on Gjallarhorn's biggest fleet is making alarm bells go off in Orga's mind. That, and most large organizations wouldn't be so blasé about openly dealing with arms like this, even if they did have the resources.]
...What kind of weapons are these? And just what's so important to you that you'd be willing to unload 'em onto someone you don't even know?
Quite sharp you are. We're in a rather dire situation ourselves. Enough so that we're willing to share our technology with others in exchange for their help with our own problems.
We're training a set of Apprentices that we hope will become heroes to save our world from something that could, quite honestly, destroy all life on it.
Important as it is, it goes without saying-- We can fit the order to your needs, to say the least. Robots, warships, weapons of mass destruction-- enough to outfit your entire group, naturally.
I have several blueprints you can look through-- they can be built for anything, really. Disrupting your enemy's communications; scrambling signals... there are even small devices capable of disarming enemy ships.
If there's one perk to the situation we're in now, it's the amount of technology available to us. And... it can be abailable to you as well.
[He narrows his eyes. Saving the world? It's such a grandiose notion that he can't help but be a little skeptical of it. He's not sure what that would entail, but. At least the mention of blueprints is enough to catch his interest.]
[He calls and-- a robot brings in several blueprints for him. Three are of large ships; each already outfitted with their own weapons. It's unclear what uses bullets, beams, particles or whatever-have-you but it's well designed and carefully plotted.
Others have ornate designs of weapons. Some large; that would be poorly fit for humans, with their destructive output. It would seem that they're designed for robots. In fact, they probably wouldn't be a bad fit for a gundam.]
Naturally, we're here to give you the real thing but-- as a welcoming gift, I'd be more than happy to part with these now.
[They do have everything on them that would be technically necessary to help one create them. So it's not a bad start.]
As future allies, you and I, my primary goal is to help you guarantee your victory as well as your friend's safety. [Gosh why is there this ominous pause like he wants you to think about th-- okay moving on.] Likewise I'm hoping that you can do the same for me.
[...Okay admittedly he's not expecting a robot to come in so give him a second to stare at that. He looks it over a bit warily as it brings the blueprints over, but his attention shifts quickly enough when he sees the plans for the ships and weaponry. There were definitely others in Tekkadan that would be able to make more sense of the schematics than he can, but the implication is enough; they at least had the technological know-how to build these.
As he mulls over the plans and the logistics of it all, one phrase manages to catch his attention beyond the rest--
--help you guarantee your victory as well as your friends' safety.
--and he looks up sharply at Oswald with narrowed eyes. He trusts this man as much as he trusts McGillis -- no, maybe actually even less than that, but. They were up against the Arianrhod, and while they had McGillis' resources at their disposal, in the end, Tekkadan was an insect compared to a fleet that size. So if they wanted to win, if they wanted to survive, if they wanted to seize their future, then--
He silently takes one of the blueprints, folds it neatly and tucks it in a pocket. And when he looks up, his visible eye is filled with suspicion, but also with resolve.]
...Alright. What do you want me to do?
[--Then he would use whatever he could. For Tekkadan.]

But first-- you would have to name your request.

I need firepower -- a whole damn lot of it. You sayin' you'd be able to provide something like that?
no subject
As a matter of fact, I can. I know several people who would be able to make the kinds of things you need.

How much are we talkin' about here? We need enough to stand up to the whole damn Arianhrod fleet.
